Phillip and Jeni are anxious to ensure that any wines produced by Curly Flat reach a minimum benchmark in terms of quality and consequently there may be occasions where a wine may be considered not up to style or the very high standard required of the Curly Flat label. In these circumstances the wine may be released under the label “William’s Crossing” at a price considerably below an equivalent Curly Flat wine.
Even to earn the privilege of the William’s Crossing Label the wine will have to be of a quality only slightly below that of Curly Flat otherwise there will be no release of that wine from Curly Flat Vineyard.
