Curly Flat Vineyard is a small family operation dedicated to nurturing the best possible fruit from the superb terroir of Curly Flat, and turning that fruit into the highest quality wine it is possible to produce.

As a consequence, Phillip and Jeni have determined that a good way to ensure Curly Flat wine finds its way to the people most likely to appreciate its virtues is by directly marketing to its customers. By this means Curly Flat will be able to form a close and, hopefully, loyal relationship with their customers.

Understanding that loyalty is a two way street, Jeni and Phillip have created a concept which ensure that those people who purchase Curly Flat wines can always be assured of equitable access to future vintages at reasonable prices.

To this end the concept of “Friends of Curly Flat” has been developed. The current members of the Friends of Curly Flat have largely been gathered by word of mouth recommendations from other wine lovers.

In some vintages production will be lower (as occurred in drought years of 2002 and 2003)  and demand exceeds supply.  Friends have priority access to those scarce wines.

The most obvious benefit of becoming a Friend is access to the wine but other benefits will include lowest price, regular communiqués from Curly Flat, an open invitation to wine tastings at Vintage Hall (our restored Australian homestead) and other events envisaged for Curly Flat.  These include dinners at Curly Flat and in restuarants where you can experience matching of food withCurly Flat wine, both current and earlier vintages.
